My background:

First and foremost I am a father to my two young (getting older far too quickly) boys. I spent too many of their formative years working 18-hour days so now I strive to enjoy as much time with them as I can. Family first. I’m a keen amateur cook and occassionally can knock something half-decent together. I used to be a decent racketball player but it’s becoming increasingly harder to be fit enough to compete with the increasingly younger opponents! My Guitar skills will also soon be progressing beyond arpeggios, I hope! I wont mention Golf, but I do enjoy hacking up the fairway when time allows. 

I started my first business when I was 13 having negotiated an exclusive distribution agreement with a sports manufacturer. It didn’t make me millions, but it was the start of my entrepreneurial journey that has seen me start or own businesses in many different industries. I’ve owned and operated companies in IT & Telecoms, Manufacturing, Distribution, Wholesale, Publishing, Recruitment & Networking to name a few. 

Having had first-hand experience of selling numerous businesses, since 2018 I’ve been more heavily involved in Mergers & Acquisitions, and as a business owner myself, I became increasingly aware of how badly the market was geared to represent the sellers of small and medium sized businesses. There’s many reasons for this, and it is true, that in general, the larger a business is, the easier it is to sell. The smaller a business is, in general, the riskier it is to a potential buyer – but that doesnt begin to explain the awful statistic that typically, only 1 in 5 of businesses advertised for sale, will actually sell. 

I now dedicate my time to helping small and medium sized business owners who are looking to exit their business to achieve the maximum valuation for their companies, on their own terms and to sell to who they choose to sell to. 

So I created a new program specifically to enable small and medium sized business owners to ensure success when selling their business. A coaching and mentoring program whereby I work on a 1:1 basis with the owner(s), and by following my process, I guarantee that at least one above-market valuation offer is recieved. SME owners no-longer need to get fleeced by the market. They no-longer need to deal with time-wasters, and they no-longer need to accept that there isn’t a buyer for their business.
